WHEN AND WHILE

- Use the past simple and the pas continuous toguther to say somethings happened while another action was in progress.

Ej: My dad bought it for me while we were staying in Rome.

• You usually use when before the past simple: Subject + past continuous + WHEN + subject + past simple.. / WHEN + subject + past simple, subject + past continuous...

Ej: We were walking down the street one day when I saw it in a shop window.
